I recently picked up a pair of Muck steel-toe gumboots, and they’ve been excellent so far. The fit is true to size – I went with the same size I usually wear in work boots (with thick socks), and they feel spot-on. The toe box gives enough room without feeling sloppy, and the steel toe doesn’t feel heavy or intrusive.
Comfort-wise, they’re much better than any gumboots I’ve owned. The cushioning and support make them easy to wear for long stretches without that usual “rubber boot fatigue.” They slip on and off quickly but still feel snug around the calf, which keeps out water, mud, and debris.
Durability looks solid – the rubber feels thick and the sole has great traction, even on wet or muddy ground. They don’t feel flimsy at all. I like that they combine the protection of a safety boot with the convenience of waterproof gumboots.

I bought a pair Derwent a couple of years ago and I couldn't be happier. I live in a warmer climate reason for choosing the Derwent mucks. Also last few years it has been extremely muddy and these boots have performed better than any other gumboot types I have tried before.
I expect much heavier because of steel cap boot.So comfortable and so warm working cold winter garden.I didn’t want to take off😆
I've had these boots for two weeks. They're very comfortable, good tread and seem to be well made.
Just received my second pair, just as good as the first. I can wear them all day. They keep my feet warm and dry. Never sweaty as they breath so well.
